Written by KARACHI: Iftikhar Ahmad Siddiqui killed his newly married daughter and injured his U.S. citizen wife. Iftikhar Ahmad Siddique, 60 was residing in U.S. state Boston along with his 3 daughters and 3 sons. He returned to Pakistan six months earlier in connection with marriage of his two daughters. His newly married daughter Zakia had come to her parents’ home from her in laws town Lodhran. On Tuesday the inmates of mohalla heard the screams coming from his house. In the meantime maternal uncle and brother in law of Zakia entered into house.
They saw Zakia and her mother lying in pool of blood. Iftikhar first of all stabbed them and later threw acid on them. They were rushed to hospital. Zakia succumbed to injuries therein. The inmates of mohalla handed over Iftikhar to police. The accused had stated that some one else had killed his daughter and he was being implicated in the case.-ONLINE

I am surprised how can a father butchers his own daughter!! Alas are we returning back to the age of Ignorance. Although the details of the case are yet to come but still, act of murdering someone particularly daughter is inhuman act. That man must have been psycho or drug addict because someone in senses can not commit such heinous crime. The reasons are unknown for killing newly wed daughter. However in Pakistani Society intolerance has increased manifold. And it can be assumed that some domestic issue led to the ruthless killing of the girl.
I beg the state law enforcement agencies to look into the matter and culprit must be punished in accordance with law.

When it comes to property issues, framing that type of mentally disturbed people is pretty common. Reality could be what father is saying some one else had done that.
“Pakistani Society” is not the only society with in-tolerance infact our society has many things which many societies cant even imagine. In-tolerance of a man has nothing to do with a particular society otherwise what would you say about american “society” where mothers sleep with their own sons? Atleast it does not happen in Pakistan. Connecting an incidence to a society on the internet is another way of de-faming your own mother land.
